On wednesday, march 6, all of you who happen to be in England should go to Birmingham and the Birmingham Conservatory. The simple reason is that you then and there can listen to two of my favorite musicians: the incomparable Dan Laurin and his wife Anna Paradiso Laurin. On recorders and harpsichord they will perform a programme consisting of music by Frescobaldi, Bach, Roman, Fontana and….Österling. My piece is of course dedicated to the performers and is entitled ”Echo’s lament”.
